Accredited Training

HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation

This unit provides the skills and knowledge required to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) Guidelines. The unit applies to all workers who may be required to provide CPR, in a range of situations, including community and workplace settings.

 This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to recognise and respond to life-threatening emergencies in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) Guidelines. This unit applies to all workers who may be required to provide an emergency response in a range of situations, including community and workplace settings.

This unit provides the skills and knowledge required to provide a first aid response to a casualty. The unit applies to all workers who may be required to provide a first aid response in a range of situations, including community and workplace settings.

HLTPAT001 and 002 Perform Venous Blood Collection

 This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to confirm collection requirements,  prepare client and equipment, and perform routine blood collections using venous blood  collection. This unit applies to any individual for whom blood collection is part of the job role. They may  be working in collection centres, in hospitals or in other health care environments. 

HLTHPS009 Perform peripheral intravenous cannulation

 This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to perform peripheral intravenous  cannulation on clients.  This unit applies to registered enrolled nurses, registered Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait  Islander health practitioners and emergency workers for whom peripheral intravenous  cannulation is part of the job role. They may be working in hospitals, primary health care in  rural remote locations, pathology services, out-of-hospital settings or in other allied health  care environment


Non Accredited Training

Clinical FX recognises accredited training is not always the best choice to upskill your team members. If the right mix of skills is not available in a single unit or qualification or your organisation does not wish to undertake assessment. Accredited First aid training is offered by LivCor, RTO 3586  which will be responsible for the quality of training and assessment  provided and for the issuing of Statements of Attainment for the units of competency on its scope. 

The accredited training and assessment will be conducted by ClinicalFX under LivCor responsibility and direction.
